El Barco Barça

Finally! It was a long time since I saw FC Barcelona play smart football. It has always been "jogo bonito" and never "play to win". We have been spoiled by 9 consecutive wins the last couple of weeks and I was afraid today would be the end of that streak. I was wrong.

FCB outplayed Malaga on a pitch that would have been more suitable for sailing or water polo. I was mostly impressed by the way they did it. Long balls and lots and lots of running, and soon the score was 1-4.


The conditions of the field gave players like Pique and Henry to shine more than usual instead of only Messi and Iniesta. (Iniesta shines whether he plays well or not...) The latter got 0% of the votes for "Man of the Match", something that is very unusual for Andrés.

Now it is time to celebrate with a parilla and going to the movies.
