Rally Dakar...

Ok, so my aspirations for Nobel Prize might not have been all that original. I would, however, like to point out that though many people may have heard of similar theories to mine, I developed it without any external influence or help. Therefore, in my on world, it was I who discovered it, and I should therefore be acredited with the discovery. Congratulations! Thank you!

People seemed to be more interested in the Dakar Race.

We met the two Swedes Olle and Pelle in a restaurant by Plaza Italia and we got a lecture on how difficult it actually is to do the Dakar rally. "Do you think I sit and listen to my iPod and drink Coke during the race?" I was surprised by all the costs involved. The entrance fee for one person is 100,000 euros. After that you have extra costs for almost everything. Mechanics, spare wheels, fuel, transport, you name it.

Unfortunately, the second stage was not so good for the Swedes, leaving them in the 60's. Hopefully they can do better in the upcoming days.

The Swedish navigator Tina Thörner (what did her parents think when they named her?) is in second place! Way to go!
